Summer is coming and we're so ready for the warmer weather. For many people their summer wardrobe means it's time to start wearing colour (tbh why haven't you been colourful the whole year??) but you can still feel the summer vibe in or out of colour! In this post we'll show you both ends of the spectrum!
We wore pretty much the same clothing, we just switched up the colours. So first our mesh tops in contrasting colours, Choom in white and Shady in black. We both did a little layering here in different way. Over her top, Choom layered a long shirt that can also be buttoned up to wear as a dress! It has a sort of retro diner feel to it! Shady's mesh crop is more see through so she wore a cute bra underneath. Never miss an opportunity to match your outfit, even down to your underwear!
Next are our three tiered tutus (say it quickly fives times in a row). Choom's is her fave colour combination blue and pink. If her hair isn't blue and pink then she'll make sure to incorporate it into her outfits! Shady's skirt is a lot fuller and adds a bit of fun floof to her co-ord. Sometimes it's not about the colour, but the shape!
Working our way down, we have the patterned tights. To continue the colourful retro theme, Choom chose some cute catoony tights in the same colourway as the long shirt. Shady's black tights feature little rainbows on them. These tights are a great example of a fun feel with dark colours, with the opacity of the tights being not too dark, the pattern can still feel summery!
Choom went excessive colour when it came to footwear. Usually with an outfit like this, with lots of colours going on, she would opt for something neutral like plain white. But these days she's being influenced by her 6% DokiDoki co-workers who are all about OTT style and added a colourful shoe to the ensemble. Shady went matchy matchy with her shoe choice, and went for a shoe in her accent colour of today, pink.
Finally our accessories. Since Choom returned to Tokyo she has been using the backpack Shady gifted to her nonstop and today was no exception! Shady used the backpack for her outfit too, twin telepathy much? And they both work perfectly for each of our outfits! The finishing touches on Choom's outfit was a huge sparkly badge, LINE earrings and for practical reasons her PASMO case and keys. Yes, that's the huge fluffy thing sticking out of her pocket.
