Sweet Medusa

Hey!

We have quite a simple look for you today. Proving you can still look alternative and cool without loads of accessories and stick to the basics without looking well, you know, basic.

For our twinning piece we both wore bodycon dresses, Choom's being a midi and Shady's a mini. Choom never usually wears midis but there are always exceptions to rules. Midis are an awkward length for her and cut her legs in a weird place so it makes her legs look stumpy and she isn't short! Well, until she stands next to Shady then she feels like a midget. For Choom dresses are either super long or super short, there is no in between. She thinks the dress gives her Kim Kardashion curves, you can decide whether this is true for yourself!

Shady thought this was a cool pose until she realised it looks like her leg had been chopped off...

Shady wears a lilac snake skin dress from Bill&Mar. Cute as it is, the fit is a problem. It's too tight at the bottom and loose around the chest. Shady finds it hard to find dresses that fit her as she is a UK size 8 on top and 10 on the bottom. She got this dress in a size 10 to be safe but it is still too short. So annoying!

For accessories we went with really simple chokers and arm cuffs. The chokers and arm cuffs are Choom's but her number one policy is sharing is caring.

For once Choom isn't wearing platforms! Hence the height difference. Dr. Martens are Choom's staple shoes, they are a must have for every wardrobe. They go with everything, are very comfortable and extremely durable. What are you waiting for go and buy yourself a pair now!

 

Shady's footwear is from La Moda, a UK accessory brand which is always on trend. Their products are affordable and much more comfortable than they might look - even their tall platform heels. Shady, (like most of the world) used to see wearing socks with sandals as a criminal offence. But she has started toying with the idea that maybe they can work as a combo and that they just haven't been worn together in the right way. She has a variety of socks especially to expose when rocking sandals in the summer. Today she has teamed her sandals with cute little mesh socks, also from La Moda.
