BOY x GIRL

Hey!

You know that age old stereotype of girls wearing pink and boys in blue, well that's all changing now and people are realising colour doesn't define you! We wanted to celebrate that by switching the colours normally associated with each gender. Choom attempted a more typical masculine look using mostly the colour pink and Shady wore feminine clothes in blue.

Our look ended up being something that's straight out of a teen movie! Choom plays the bad boy jock and Shady the shy geek girl. With the colour change, of course.

Choom's top is loose fitting vest that sort of  looks like a basketball jersey. To layer up she wore a leather jacket in pink. Leather always adds an edge to an outfit no matter what colour! Shady's geek chic look begins with an illusion choker top. This outfit is unusual for Shady because she is usually allergic to long sleeved tops (not literally but you get the idea.)

Choom's shorts are loose fitting (for her) and Shady wears a plaid skirt, reminiscent of her school days, aww.

These outfits are pretty throwback, even down to the socks. Choom pulled hers all the way up like she's ready for a big game. Shady's loose socks are something straight out of 90's high school in Japan when they were all the rage. But they seem to be making a comeback now...

We're fans of platforms but we both went with trainers this time around. Choom wore practical trainers so she could ride her bike (joking it's not her bike) and Shady matched her ensemble with cute pastel blue trainers.

To finish off these looks we added accessories to match our 'boy' 'girl' personas. Choom was feeling a bit edgy and nothing screams that louder than a full body harness. Rather than stick entirely to the loose silhouette of the vest, the harness adds a bit of shape to the top. And of course a backwards cap that says 'Waifu' because that's what all jocks want really. If you're going geek you have to don a pair of huge glasses which is what Shady did. Shady then added two bows to her twintails, who said geeks can't be cute?
