Kowai Kawaii

Hey!

We may be called the PuriCuties but sometimes our look isn't all that cute!

Whenever we plan our shoots we always ask each other what theme we want to go for or what clothes we have that are similar. In this case we both said we had mesh clothing we wanted to shoot. Okay, cool, sounds fine, right? Well, somehow a Rihanna and Kanye West inspired mesh outfit turned into this gothic look...and we love it!

The mesh feature for Shady's outfit is her skirt, the layered effect adding another texture to her look. Choom's tshirt is mesh from the chest down. It was supposed to be a men's tshirt but she decided to wear it as a dress instead.  

Shady shows you can wear a bra as top - often a good alternative to crop tops. The thicker straps and band make this bra seem passable as a bralet, but was actually bought from the lingerie section of Urban Outfitters!

Because the outfits were quite simple we had to make it look unusual. Shady is lucky as her tattoos perfectly match the aesthetic! Additionally instead of black or red lipstick, she spiced things up with a deep green. It's called Serpentina and is Shady's fave colour from Limecrime. This choice was inspired by Rih Rih's iHeartRadio Music Awards look. Choom went with red lipstick but kept it quirky by accessorising with a top hat and cane. 

Another twinning piece was the leg harness, one for Choom, one for Shady. Choom added a bandana to her other leg. Finally, shoes! Chunky, of course!
