Love Pink, Hate You.

It's been a while but we're back and as fierce as ever! This week is inspired by the current cyber trends mixed with a nod to throwback fashion.

We used the colour pink as our base and worked from there. These outfits were actually all inspired by Shady's oversized tshirt. It was a birthday present from Choom and she knew that it would be an instant fave for Shady. She knows her twin well!

Shady's tshirt motif is part of the huge retro/cyber movement happening right now. To match this Choom paired it with her wifi tshirt. Instead of a dot there's a heart in the middle of the wifi symbol, Choom couldn't live without wifi so it's very appropriate to be honest. She layered a pink crop top over the tshirt which sits perfectly underneath the wifi symbol.

Shady was all about working the oversized tee look so opted out of a visible bottom half. Sometimes you just don't need it, it adds unnecessary elements to an outfit, and it's uncomfortable. Choom went for the shortest shorts she could find and in a standout colour. The Cyberdog shorts are made from this stretchy material (seriously, what is it?) and it fits so well with the cyber aesthetic. We both wore fishnets in contrasting colours too. If you're not comfortable with rocking hotpants or an oversized tee and be barelegged, fishnets are a great option. They give the illusion and feel of not being completely naked and they're not hot like normal tights!

Since we went with different colourways for our fishnets, we chose entirely different shoes. The black on black look is so effortlessly cool and simple, and a knee high boot works so well with this ensemble. Choom wore her ankle and neck breaking platforms. Seriously, wear these at your own risk. But they were worth it for the shoot! She'll break your heart (and her neck) in these shoes!

Shady's accessories were kept to a minimum for this outfit. Some just don't need OTT accessorising to pack a punch and this outfit definitely shows it. The last addition were her @ earrings in the perfect pink to match the rest of her outfit. Choom piled on the layers to give her outfit extra impact. A clear harness and pink glittery hoop earrings and her ultimate absolute favourite item of the moment, her plastic pink trench coat. The collar is so wide and the colour is so bright she feels like Elle Woods...but a villain.
