Winter Wrap Up

It's officially cold and we want to be warm, and stylish! Isn't it the hardest thing to be both? We sometimes feel like throwing on a onesie and our comfiest shoes (we own flat shoes believe it or not!) to wear on bitter wintery days. But it is possible to be practical and cute!

We created contrasting looks for our winter wrap up. Shady kept it simple and sweet in her pastel puffer and Choom looked punky in her black harness parka. These outfits totally contrast our Mix and Match post where we really went for it with colours and accessories. We decided to scale back on these outfits to show you don't have to over accessorize to stand out, and only a few key points are needed to make your outfit pop.

Winter doesn't have to mean wearing all black as Shady clearly shows with her pastel ensemble. Don't let the weather get you down, dress up! Shady's puffy cloud jacket is layered over a long jumper to keep her warm. Does anyone know the character on her jumper? (We don't, brownie points if you do!) The colours on both tops match up perfectly, co-ordinated and cute, just how we like it.

Not to mention wearing all black doesn't have to be boring! The small harness details on Choom's jacket add an edge to her outfit. She loves the huge hood too, she can fit all her hair in comfortably and be really toasty too haha.

Our bottoms are simple and match the colour theme of our outfits. Shady wore white jeans, normally a winter no-no, but you know us, we like to break the rules! Over a pair of plain black tights Choom wore odd coloured thigh high socks. They have the same nurse graphic on the front and and simpler graphic on the back.

The accessories were minimal too. Shady wore her signature pom poms, this time in the form of hairbands as bracelets. Her hairstyle is cute too! She twisted the coloured ends of her braids and tied them at the end for a cool look. Choom's accessorized with winged hair clips she clipped to her cornrows. We both finished off the look with flatforms!
