Roxie Girls (Roxie Sweetheart x Puricuties)

This is our second collab with a designer, so exciting! This time around we collaborated with Roxie Sweetheart a creator of all things kawaii. If you're from the UK you've probably heard of this brand as they are always at events likes MCM Expo and HyperJapan. We love the cute clothes and accessories so we were really happy to do this shoot!

Roxie Sweetheart's clothes and accessories feature cute designs and are often part of an overall collection of pieces with the same design or that are made to be worn together. Choom wears the 'What A Girl Wants' bodycon dress from the latest collection 'Dream Dollhouse' and Shady's dress is from the 'Mystical Mermaids' collection.

We decided to be weird (what's new?) and wear the accessories a little differently. The belt Choom is wearing is actually a Mystical Mermaid statement necklace she tied to herself with a ribbon. The necklace has a thick, lightweight, glittery blue chain with a huge double Mermaid graphic in the centre. As a necklace the length is perf, as modelled by Shady wearing a double Unicorn statement necklace, also by Roxie Sweetheart.

Shady is wearing a cute Seahorse choker as a headpiece to complement her ensemble. Shady's neck is so small any normal sized choker is usually too big so we had to get creative to make it work! The choker is soft and velvety with cute bows, beads and the seahorse design in the middle.

For Choom's rings, she picked a single Unicorn ring and a single Mermaid ring. These rings are totally adjustable so can fit anyone! Some rings also come as a double ring which fit on two fingers. Another statement piece to add to your collection!

Shady chose the ghostie and seahorse ring to match her underwater theme (a ghost doesn't quite match but oh well). The ghostie ring she wore as a midi ring and the seahorse ring as a normal ring.

To complete the look we wore our own shoes, socks and bracelets. Choom wore her Melissa x Vivienne Westwood heart heels to offset the pinks of the dress. Fun fact: These shoes are scented and despite having them for over two or more years still have the scent! She also wore her rainbow crown from Claire's which is so so cute and OTT.

Shady kept it kawaii with her mega platforms and knee high socks. She also adores accessorising with fluff so of course she added her fluffy bracelets and earrings all in the same pastel-y colour scheme. And who can ignore Shady's amazing pastel hair?! Even that matches her outfit!!
